I considered doing a cover reveal, or sitting on this until my own exhaustion from Private Politics’ release faded, but I’m crap at keeping secrets. So here’s something pretty for your Monday: the cover for Party Lines.
Gorgeous, right? I think it’s my favorite cover for the series.
I don’t have a full blurb yet, but here’s the log line: “As a presidential campaign rages, and a reckless affair becomes a relationship, a cynical Democrat and an ambitious Republican will have to choose between party loyalty and their hearts.”
You have a wait four whole months for the book to be out, but it’s already available for presale at Amazon, B&N, Kobo, and Google Play with more venues to follow soon. You can also add it to your Goodreads shelves.
I am so excited. Can’t wait.
Thank you! Me too.
good she took off her heels as otherwise she would have been taller than he is…
Thanks, dad! But would it kill the romance if she were taller? ; )
Yes, keep’em short! I’m so looking forward to this too!
Thank you! This one was hard but I think it’s very good.
I’m so looking forward to this. January is SOOOOO too long to wait.
I think–I hope!–you’ll really like it.
My favorite part of this cover is how her shoes are off. It makes it so much sexier somehow.
Me too! I think it emphasizes how their relationship takes place off-stage in this space where they aren’t who they are in their professional lives, calling into question who they are at all.
Just before Private Politics came out, I re-read it and realized that Alyse is constantly thinking about shoes–hers and other peoples. But whenever Liam looks at her, her shoes are always off. I didn’t write it intentionally, but it was this perfect, unbalanced binary. So I’m glad that here, Lydia’s shoes are off.
