Autumn is my favorite season of the year. The trees turning scarlet and golden, the extra buttery sunlight, the thrill of going back to school: it was basically developed in a laboratory to delight me. And in just three weeks, I get to release a book that I love in a season I love. What could be better?
I am very extremely tired (my day job has been day jobbing big time), and the state of the world has me weary. But a few days ago, I got to hold finished copies of You, Me, & the Conspiracy in my hands, and I was awash with gratitude.
I can finally share details about the preorder bonus. If you preorder You, Me, & the Conspiracy in any format–print, ebook, or audio–from any retailer, you can submit the proof of purchase here, and I’ll send you a 6K word bonus epilogue that I wrote over the summer.
I also insisted that we make the bonus available to folks who request the book at their libraries, and you can submit proof of those requests via the same form here. I love libraries. I love the thought of my book being in libraries. I would be over the moon if you opted for door #2. (Or for both doors! Both doors also works!)
But either way, trust me when I say that you want this epilogue. The book ends where a movie would: bad guys are defeated, feelings are affirmed, and then we’re out. So if you want to roll around in the happy ending, and to see how Jess and Cal celebrate Christmas, you need this.
Wait, there’s more!
One of the things about this release that’s special is that it’s the first time my publisher has made a push to get my book into bookstores. So if you preorder from these three bookstores, you’ll get a signed bookplate + a sticker that reads Too Cool for British Rule (they’re cute!):
- Chapter & Coast in Miami, FL
- Teddy’s Best Reads in Oxford, CT
- Fountain Books in Richmond, VA
I also have two in-person events on the horizon.
- I’ll be appearing at the aforementioned Fountain Books on October 24 at 5 p.m. with my dear friend Olivia Dade. You can reserve tickets here. We’ll be discussing Olivia’s amazing book World’s Okayest Oracle, as well as You, Me, & the Conspiracy.
- I’ll be doing a pop-up signing at Novel Grounds in Chesapeake, VA, on November 21 between 3 and 5 p.m.
Novel Grounds also has signed copies of most of my backlist books here. So if you’ve been longing for shelf trophy copies of them, Megan and her wonderful team can hook you up.
Last but not least, on the Simon & Schuster page for You, Me, & the Conspiracy, you can read the first chapter of the book and listen to the first 6 minutes of the audiobook, which is beautifully read by Anna Caputo and Tim Paige. If that doesn’t get you in the mood to preorder it, nothing will.
